Enter the Game

[Princess Lana's voice rings out, no matter where you are in Videotown or any of the worlds, you'll be able to hear it. She sounds a little stressed, but triumphant.]

"Dear people of Videoland, after much searching, we discovered that there were some wild Joltik in several locations around the city that were draining off the power. They've been caught and released back in their own world.

My apologies for how long it took to take care of the problem.

Since the power drain is an issue, for now, we've activated trains that will take you through the warp zones. Transit times will be a little longer and you'll have to wait for the trains to arrive, but this system will conserve power until we're certain that the station can handle the warp zones.

I'm sorry for any inconveniences that this may cause for everyone."

[Near the entrance of the newly-finished Warp Station is a stage that looks across a crowd of characters from many different assorted video games. Near the stage's edge are many tables with different food and drinks from several different worlds.

After the crowd has grown to a fair size, Princess Lana takes the stage. She stands at the podium and speaks clearly into the microphone so that all present can hear her.]

Citizens of Videoland, it is with great pride that I now announce the grand opening of the Warp Station here in Videotown.

It has taken several months of work and much help from various citizens, and now the wait is finally over.

With the Warp Station now fully operational, every citizen of Videoland may travel to any world in Videoland that they choose to do so.

It is also to my delight to announce that because of the control we now have over warp zones, worlds that we haven't seen before are now accessible to everyone.

It will take some time to adjust to all these changes, so please be patient and kind towards everyone you meet.

[Once she's done speaking, she claps her hands once, and the curtain blocking the entrance to the Warp Station falls down.]

Please enjoy your stay here in Videotown and any other world that you enter!
